What is the Legacy Collection?
The Legacy Collection is WSA's premium tier of events — 10 competitions that award championship jackets and rings to every division champion, run full production at every event, and offer bid opportunities to the Worldwide Allstar Championships.
Do I need a bid to compete in Legacy events?
Most Legacy Collection events are open entry — no bid required. The two bid-required events are the Worldwide Allstar Championship in Destin, FL (D2 gyms only) and the Worldwide Allstar Championship in St. George, UT (open to all). Bids for both can be earned at any WSA regular season event or any WLC Legacy Collection event.
What's the difference between Legacy events and regular WSA events?
Legacy events award championship jackets and rings to every division champion — regular WSA events do not. Both run full production across the entire 2026–27 season. Legacy events also carry bid opportunities to the Worldwide Allstar Championships.
Are VIP events part of the Legacy Collection?
Yes — VIP Allstar Nationals (Athens), VIP Grand Nationals (Mobile), and VIP Allstar Nationals (Nashville) are all part of the Legacy Collection and are dedicated events for D2 gyms.
What does "D2 gyms only" mean?
D2 (Division 2) events are dedicated events for D2 programs — a focused competitive environment where your athletes compete within their division. VIP Legacy events are built specifically for D2 gyms and carry the same full production and championship hardware as every other Legacy event.
